Menswear to Borrow

fall-fashion

Menswear has swept through our wardrobes and it seems like it’s here to stay. What might have started with he boyfriend denim look has exploded into a full closet of shopping opportunities. Personally, I’m loving the oversized, structures trends that it’s brought us.

When shopping for menswear pieces, there is now an extensive selection within our own departments. Almost any choice has been tailored for us to have our own take on each look. However, I haven’t been able to abandon the men’s side completely. I’ve been known to occasionally drift from my aisle during shopping trips over to the men’s side.

My favorite pieces to borrow from the boys are loafers, oversized sweaters, and pocket squares. I’ve found that as long as you figure out your sizing in the mens department, and get over your hesitation to shop outside of women’s, then you’re good to go! Fun fact, sizes for men’s and women’s shoes differ by a size and a half.

Don’t be afraid to go out and find your perfect menswear piece. If you love it, the side of the store that it came from doesn’t matter.
