Cool Winter Colors

Well, so far winter has surely got the best of me this year. Between the snow and cold, I’ve felt a heck of a lot less motivated lately. However, it could have something to do with the fact that I’ve recently moved!

As I’m sure you’re aware, packing up everything you own and moving it to another town takes a lot out of you. Especially when you only took one day off from work to put your life back together again…. However, I’m quickly getting back on track and am as excited as ever to enjoy one of my favorite seasons!

Today’s look was all about my new H&M blazer. The classic pinstripes make everything feel a little more put together (even when you’re wearing sneakers). I enjoy pairing it with this simple, wool scarf for a real menswear feel. During the winter, I find myself gravitating towards my favorite “sparkle” jewelry that really shines against the snow!  To finish it off, this clutch from T. J. Maxx was just a lucky find since it’s become a grab-n-go favorite of mine over the past few months. Easily storing all my daily essentials, it adds a little bit of glam to a casual weekend look.

There is something so cozy about dressing for the colder months. My color palette tends to be cooler tones in general, so winter styles are right up my alley! It’s this time of year that I cling to the neutral basics in my closet. Trust me, the closer the temperatures get to zero the more mixing and matching those wardrobe staples will save your sanity! No one wants to feel high maintenance in the cold!
